In the Middle of It.
What does it take to grow participation culture in Aotearoa?
Listen on:
A brand new podcast that explores what it takes to grow participation culture in Aotearoa
Community Think has ventured into the world of podcasting! With In the Middle of It, we’re excited to bring our community stories to life through an alternative and dynamic platform.
As part of the Neighbours Aotearoa intensive place-based pilots, this podcast was born from a desire to share the lessons learned and create an alternative with our communities and create a more accessible, meaningful way to report back to those who have supported our work. Inspired by the success of our Camps and Public Programme, podcasting felt like the perfect next step to reach a wider audience.
This six-part series takes listeners on a journey into the creative energy of building participation culture in Aotearoa. Documenting an innovative pilot project currently being rolled out in three communities, the podcast explores how neighbourhood connections are being fostered through shared activities like planting, cooking, celebrating, and learning.
